The wait ain't over yet.........

It has been four days and a half till now,
And there is no reply from her end.
I type a message and erase it again,
Because it would look like a trend.

With the tariff for 500 sms's a day,
  I have been sending her some everyday.
Expecting some from her end too,
But my expectations all died in dismay.

Some were usual "hey, how are you?"
Typed with right hand fingers.
But some others hinted of romance,
Of which the fear still lingers.

I jump at each vibration of the cell,
Hoping to find a message from her.
But then get disappointed after reading,
The joke or quote that I discover.

I am a guy with too many friends,
But am a bit lonely now.
And i just want an sms from her.
But just cant figure out how.

With each message i check my cell twice,
To make sure they get delivered.
And smile because I am lucky enough,
That my carrier is AIRTEL and not a bird.

And then I type and send a sms that read,
"Do u think I  am your pet  ?"
And strangely my friends; a reply comes back,
"Dear ! you wait is not over yet  @>--,-'-"
